This policy explains how PickupProof ("PickupProof," "we," "us") handles information when you use pickupproof.com, our tools and our text messaging program. PickupProof is a DBA of Always Dream Big LLC.
Information we collect
- Email address when you unlock a listing rewrite, join a waitlist or create an account.
- Listing text and details you paste into the rewriter (rental type, location, price). We keep a short excerpt with your email so we can follow up about your listing.
- Account and business details for rental owners: name, business name, phone, email, city/state, assets and rentals.
- Mobile phone numbers that you provide, and a record of whether you opted in to text messages (the wording shown, the time and the page).
- Check-in & damage report data: photos of rented items, device capture times, upload times, GPS location at the time of capture (if you allow it), signatures, and renter names and contact details that the rental owner or renter provides.
- Technical data such as a one-way hash of your IP address (used for abuse prevention), browser type and basic usage logs.
How we use it
- To provide the rewriter, owner accounts, renter check-in links and condition reports.
- To send messages you asked for or agreed to: check-in links, reminders, account notifications and, if you opted in, occasional offers. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link; reply STOP to any text to opt out.
- To prevent abuse, debug problems and improve our product.
Mobile numbers and text messages (SMS)
We do not share, sell, rent or trade mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party, except the service providers (such as our SMS delivery provider) that send messages on our behalf and are not permitted to use your number for any other purpose.
Opting in to texts is optional and is not a condition of any purchase or rental. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or get help by replying HELP. See our SMS Terms for details.
AI processing
Listing text and inspection photos you submit are processed by third-party AI model providers (through Vercel AI Gateway) to generate rewrites and suggested damage findings. Please don't paste sensitive personal information into the rewriter.
Sharing
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run PickupProof(hosting, database and storage, AI processing, email, SMS delivery and CRM; for example Vercel, Supabase, AI model providers and our messaging/CRM provider), with the rental business you are renting from (for renters' check-in data), when required by law, or as part of a business transfer. The SMS commitment above applies in every case.
Retention
We keep lead and account information while you're subscribed or have an account, and delete it on request. Check-in photos and reports are kept for the rental business for up to 12 months unless deleted sooner on request, subject to any legal hold. SMS consent records are kept as long as needed to prove consent.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from emails at any time and reply STOP to stop texts. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information by emailing support@automateboss.com. Depending on where you live (for example California), you may have additional rights.
Children
PickupProof is for businesses and their customers and is not directed to children under 13.
